TWO Monmouthshire track cyclists got medals at the National Track Championships over the weekend (26th to the 27th of September).

Lewis Oliva, pictured below won gold in the men’s sprint at the British Cycling National Track Championships on Saturday.

The former Monmouth School student beat a track of on-form opposition, including Matt Rotherham and Jason Kenny. Becky James from Abergavenny won silver in the Woman’s Keirin, losing out to the powerful Katy Marchant.
