CALDICOT care home Cherry Tree welcomed the community to its medieval-themed summer fete for residents and relatives on Saturday 22nd August.

Visitors enjoyed a day of jousting, archery and hobby horses along with food stalls and a raffle.

Some even took their chances in the stocks.

Visitors were encouraged to dress up in line with the theme.

Helen Harries, lifestyle co-ordinator at Cherry Tree, said: “The medieval fair was a great day had by all, we had lots of family members and their children attend and we raised just under £300 from the stall, which we put towards the residents activity fund.”
