THE Weir Engineering Wyedean Forest Rally, which utilises the forest tracks in the Forest of Dean, celebrates its 40th Anniversary on Valentine's Day his year.

Organised by the Forest of Dean Motor Club Ltd, the WyeDean Rally features as a qualifying round for a number of competitions, including the MSA English Rally Championship and Pirelli MSA Welsh National Rally Championship.

The first car is set to leave Chepstow Racecourse at 8.01am on Wednesday 14th February with each crew aiming to complete the eight special stages covering 45 miles. Such is the scale of the rally throughout the forest that no stage sees the same track used twice.
