Ben Giddy and Ed Edginton each took three wickets as Westbury cruised to a 141-run victory against Cam in the Gloucestershire Cricket League.

Earlier, Daniel Anderson, Alex Wyman and Greg Artus passed the half century mark as the home side posted 268-6.

Westbury were put into bat in the Division Two game and skipper Anderson hit a four off the first ball on his way to 72.

The opening partnership with Wyman lasted the best part of 27 overs as they posted 140 before Wyman went leg before to Peter Hall.

He had made 55 with seven fours.

Anderson went to the final ball of the 28th over when he was caught for 146-2.

Forty of his 72 runs came from fours.

Cam made further progress when Devin Rogers was caught by Chris Browning at the end of the next over for 148-3.

His replacement, Artus, would go on to add 53 runs off just 35 balls with seven fours and a six.

He was eventually bowled by George Dolling in the 39th.

Andrew Cueto was run out and Henry Watkinson was bowled as Westbury set a healthy target.

It took 11 balls for Rogers to get the first wicket when Craig Mills was bowled.

He claimed a second when Edginton took a catch for 27-2.

Ben Giddy took a catch off Jon Hargreaves for a wicket maiden and 48-3.

A Richard Hall catch gave Hargreaves another wicket and Cam were 52-4.

Edginton bowled Sam Buck for 74-5 and had Ben Lane lbw for 81-6.

Wyman took a catch in the next over to give Edginton his third and make it 85-7.

Giddy bookended the 29th bowling Dolling and seeing Edginton take a catch for 107-9.

The innings ended halfway through the 33rd on 127 when Giddy bowled Jonny Hayward.
