USK has been confirmed as part of the full route of the new Velothon Wales.
The event has been backed by UCI as one of cycling's international governing body's Velothon Majors routes.
Wales joins the likes of Berlin, Stockholm and Vienna in hosting a huge velothon of up to 15,000 riders, with spaces for both professional and hobbyist cyclists.
The sportive has already attracted famous names such as former Welsh rugby internationals Jonathan Davies, Colin Charvis and Tom Shanklin, ex England and Arsenal footballer Lee Dixon and Welsh athletics star Jamie Baulch.
Meanwhile, the professional race, with its high UCI categorisation, is likely to attract some of the world's top cyclists and teams.
Riders and jerseys seen on the likes of the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia and Tour of Britain will be racing at the event, joined by thousands of amateurs. Big names such as German sprinter Andre Grippel, who won the Cambridge-London stage of last year's Tour de France Grand Depart, have won previous Velothon Majors events.
All routes begin at Cardiff with a 50km and 120km open to non-professionals. The longer route will take in parts of the Usk valley before heading into the town and then out towards the Brecon Mountains for the velothon's tougher climbing sections.
Professional entrants will see their route extended to 200km by adding in climbing loops onto the velothon's long stage.
For those wanting to take part in the event, there are charity spots available for the event that takes place on 14th June.
