UNDERWOOD Social Club B swept to the top of the table with a 4-1 win over title rivals Chepstow Town B.

Underwood manager Craig Johnson was delighted with his team's performance.

"It was a good top-of-the-table battle," he said.

"Matthew Seabourne and Taylor Gregory scored two apiece and, although it was disappointing to concede a goal, the lads battled hard.

"Of course, it's still a long way to go but we are where we want to be – top of the table."

Another team with their eyes on the title, Severn Bridge, enjoyed a 5-4 victory over Sudbrook B thanks to Chris Hooper (2), Paul Trask (2), and Dan Cole.

They are now second on 25 points, behind Underwood on goal difference with Chepstow Town B third on 23 points.

In the only other match to go ahead in the division, Caldicot Town beat Tintern Abbey B 3-1.
