TWO squads of Monmouth Town U8s hosted Chepstow Town Lions at the sports ground on Saturday, 18th April.

Two strong goalkeeping performances meant Monmouth were able to concentrate their efforts on attack, leaving the nets in the good hands of Joe Porter and birthday boy Isaac Williams.

Despite Chepstow looking the slightly bigger players than their hosts, town put up some solid play and gave their rivals some competitive football play.
