MONMOUTH under 9's made it two wins in a row with a convincing win away to Eastnor on Sunday.
Coach Liam Stubbs was forced to make four changes from last week's side, but Monmouth turned in another excellent performance.
Batting first on a warm morning, Monmouth, who got off to a good start thanks to an attacking innings from Sam Brennan, racked up 288.
William Tatham top scored during an excellent stand with his brother JP, while Bella Wilton carried on her recent improvement.
Good knocks from Boris Hale and Catrin Watkin took Monmouth to a total that always looked like being beyond the home side's reach.
After the break, stand-in skipper Patrick Stubbs led the attack well, unluckily having two catches put down off his bowling.
Despite this setback, the returning Peaches Hale and Hattie Brennan were both among the wickets, while William Wilton took 2-6.
Man of the Match William Tatham ended the innings on a high with dazzling figures of 2-1-1-3.
