At the Tae Kwon Do championships in Guilford, the Park family from Monmouth's club did exceptionally well.

Oliver Park came first in Individual Team Tag with his brother Joe getting 2nd in Individual.

Another brother, Sam came second in Single Tag Teams with sister Tina awarded a 3rd.

Other members of the Monmouth Tae Kwon Do Club taking home awards were Daniel David who had bronze for junior sparring; first time winner, Katie Howells gained 1st in individual and a 2nd in Tag Team, and her brother had 1st in Tag Team.

Instructor Tony Farr, who gained a gold in Destruction, said that he was very pleased with the efforts of his members.
