CHEPSTOW School's year eight football team won the South East Wales Final before Christmas which put them through to the national finals.

Beating Bishopston, from Swansea, 3-0 in the last 16 of Wales, the team is into the quarter final stage of the national competition.

The team is captained by Cardiff City academy player Harry Pinchard, and saw strong performances by goal scorer Ryan Scrivens and defender Matteo Goddard.

The school's year nine team are also SE Wales champions and play St Teilos School from Cardiff in the last 16 of Wales.
