TOMOS Rees of Osbaston Primary School won the under 11 boys novice section with a very good score of 45.6, while in the under 11 intermediate girls section Tayah Jones came second, Halle Unsworth came third and Emily Bevan came fifth.
Tomos, Tayah,
representing Raglan Primary School, and Halle, representing Llandogo Primary School, now qualify for the central zone competition, which will be held in January, probably in Cambridge.
Also qualifying for the central zonals are the team from Cross Ash Primary School, who finished second in the Under 11 girls novice event.
The team consisted of Eceil Alzheyrey (18th), Cerys Miles (24th) and Kathleen Alzheyrey (25th). All three were competing in their first competition.
The team from
Trellech Primary School came third in the same section with Anna Porter (8th), Amelia Houghton-Snell (20th) and Spring Williams (28th).
In the same
competition
Jessica Maylin
narrowly missed out on qualifying by
coming fourth with a score of 45.0, only 0.5 below third place.
Zoe Cripwell, representing the Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls, came 16th, and five year old Abi Jones from Raglan came 22nd, which was a tremendous performance for one so young.
All of the above are members of the
Monmouth
Trampoline Club.
Two other members were competing in their very first competition, namely Erin Williams, who came 40th in the under 14 novice section and Phoebe Hope, who came 15th in the under 11 beginners section.
