LAST weekend's weather played havoc with the Gwent County League, wiping out all games in all three divisions.

To add further disruption to the fixture backlog, Mathern FC's Amateur Cup tie at Malpas United was called off for the fourth time and is likely to be rescheduled for this Saturday when Mathern were due to welcome table-topping Cromwell to the Athletic Ground for a Division 2 match.

The draw for the quarter finals which are due to be played on 7th February, pits the winners of the Malpas v Mathern tie at home to the winners of the match between Albion Rovers and Cefn Forest.

If the weather permits, Blackrock are due to entertain title-chasing Llanhilleth Athletic while in Division 3, Caldicot Castle visit Ponthir, Thornwell Red & White welcome Rhymney and Rockfield Rovers are away to Whiteheads
