A highly enjoyable 2014 campaign for

Llanarth Cricket Club concluded at the combined G&M and Welsh Club Cricket Conferance (WCCC) annual league dinner where skipper, Dennis Heath, collected the WCCC2 runners up trophy from guest speaker, the former England Test batsman, Derek Randall.

At junior level the U11s had an excellent season losing just a single fixture in the First Division East.

U11 captain Will Heath also skippered the Gwent U10s team and was joined in County U10 representative honours by Hugo Caldicott. The U13s had a solid season in the Pairs East Division finishing with an even record of won four and lost four. There were also fixtures for even younger junior members, at U9 level, playing softball cricket.

Off the field Llanarth CC was delighted to gain Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) status from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, one of the benefits of this status is that the club can now claim Gift Aid on donations received. Anyone interested in joining the club, in any capacity, can contact the club online.
