THE Black Rock lave net fishermen's season begins Monday 1st June at 12.45 pm.
Visitors to the fishery are welcome to watch the lave net fishing from the safety of the Black Rock picnic site, Portskewett.
Monmouthshire which also gives panoramic views of the severn estuary and is on the Welsh coastal path .
The fishermen's net house will be open 1 hour prior to fishing.
The fishery is the last of its type in Wales and has a rich history built up over many hundreds of years.
