CHEPSTOW Town could take the top spot in East Gwent League Division Two with a point when they play Severn Tunnel B later today.

The Town currently sit second in the league, just one point behind Underwood Athletic B who have a game in hand. With the Chepstow side’s goal difference two better than Underwood’s, a draw against Tunnel would be enough for them to take the top spot with just a handful of games remaining.

Hot on the heels of Underwood and Chepstow, Mathern B could also take the league lead when they visit Sudbrook CC. Mathern are also one point behind Underwood, but currently sit third in the table on goal difference.

Caldicot Castle B welcome Severn Tunnel C in the league’s other fixture.
