IT was full four-ce ahead for Chepstow Town as they won 4-0 at Risca United on Saturday to go seventh in the Ardal South East League.

Mason Keepin-Davies set the ball rolling with an opener on 24 minutes, with the lead doubled by Giancarlo Gabbiadini on 67 minutes.

Adam Wakley added a third two minutes later as the Jockeys raced clear before Joe Ward added the icing on the cake eight minutes later.

Town neighbours Thornwell R&W were also 2-0 winners at Pontnewydd United in the Gwent Premier Division 2 Cup Group B, Owen Badham firing two goals in a minute at the start of the second half.

But Usk Town were narrowly beaten 2-1 by hosts Rassau in their Group D clash, Louis Quinton levelling up the host's first-half opener on 59 minutes, but Rassau hitting the winner 12 minutes later.

Glascoed won 2-1 at their Llanarth home though against PILCS 2nds in Gwent Central One.

The hosts went in front after six minutes through an own goal only for the New Inn outfit to level on 34 minutes.

But in a physical second half, Cole Surtees played Gary Phillips in to strike the winner 12 minutes from time, leaving Glascoed third with games in hand on top two Sebastapol and Tranch.

Elsewhere, GC2 top-half duo Usk 2nds and hosts Tranch 2nds shared the points in a scoreless draw.

Chepstow Town travel to Ardal South East table toppers Goytre for an all-Monmouthshire Ardal South Cup clash this Friday night.
