EAST Gwent Senior League sides have a break from league action this weekend, as the action turns towards the Gill Cup and Fishwick Cup quarter-finals.

In the Gill Cup, Underwood SC A face Mathern Reserves A, Severn Tunnel take on Undy Athletic, Caldicot Castle A face Caldicot Town and Tintern Abbey host Chepstow Athletic.

Meanwhile Division Two teams will contest Fishwick Cup quarter-finals in which Mathern Reserves B face Underwood SC B, Chepstow Town host Caldicot Castle B, Portskewett and Sudbrook entertain Sudbrook CC and Severn Tunnel C take on their own B team in the remaining tie.

This leaves just one league match in which Thornwell Red and White A welcome Severn Bridge.
