MATHERN FC's twice-postponed Amateur Cup 3rd round match at Malpas United is scheduled for this Saturday after another cancellation last weekend.

Originally drawn at Malpas, last week's tie was switched to Mathern after Malpas failed to book showering facilities in time, but then the Mathern pitch was one of many affected by heavy rain.

The club has now been told that they must play Malpas at the earliest occasion in order to catch up but the delayed cup match is contributing to a fixture pile-up.

Also scheduled for Saturday are Blackrock Rovers' Division 2 match at home to Sebastopol while in Division 3, Thornwell are due to entertain Rogerstone, Caldicot Castle are away to Trinant and Rockfield Rovers travel to West of St Julians.
