Winners in the female veterans' categories were 35 Louise Bright, 40 Nicola Gething, 45 Niki Morgan, 50 Julie Scholey and 70 Daphne Austerbery. Race director Judith Austerberry said: "The Rose Inn series has been very well supported by the local running community. "The race does attract some very fast club runners because of the nature of the course. "It's fast and flat. Therefore, good club runners can expect to pit themselves against the clock and hope to achieve a personal best time. "Because it's a series of four races, runners hope to achieve faster times at each race, although weather conditions often hamper these dreams and expectations." The post-race barbecue at the event raised more than £400 for CAP, a Chepstow-based free debt counselling service. CAP has won numerous awards including the Insolvency and Rescue 'Team of the Year' award 2013.
