Chepstow Athletic Club moved into second spot in the 'A' league after an enthralling come-back against the Five All's.

At 4-0 down all looked lost for the Athletic team, but a fabulous fight back saw them clinch the match 5-4, The Five All's Rex Baynton took out a 112 checkout, while Mark Baynton took out a 113, and Dave Matthews of the Athletic Club hit a 180 during this tense match.

The Huntsman Hotel are finally finding their form with an impressive 6-3 victory over Chepstow Football Club 'A', with the Shirenewton teams Paul Jones taking out a 140 checkout, Gavin Davies taking out 106, and Mark Cordell hitting a 180 in their win.

Top of the table The Village Inn 'B' continued their 100 per cent record sweeping aside the Severn Bridge Social Club 8-1, with Jon King being the only Severn Bridge player to put up any resistance.

In the 'B' league Chepstow Rugby Club remain top after a close fought 8-7 win over the Carpenters Arms, while second placed Burnt Barn Club 'B' had a relatively easy win 10-5 at the Village Inn 'A'.

Thornwell Football Club continue to struggle after a 13-2 reverse away to Chepstow Athletic Club 'B'.
