THE league season resumed this week following the Christmas and New Year break, and in the "A" League the leaders Village Inn "B" kept up their 100 per cent record with a fine 9-0 win away to the Five All's.

Mike Davies of the Village Inn hit a 180 and a 119 checkout, while the Five All's Joe Orme hit a 180.

Dave Matthews of Chepstow Athletic Club "A" was another 180 hitter, but unfortunately it did not help his team as they lost at home 7-2 to the Huntsman Hotel.

In the battle of the two Chepstow Football Club teams, the "A" side came out on top winning 6-3 with Andy Jones hitting a 180.

In the 'B' League Vernon Pask hit a 180 as his team the Village Inn "A" lost 10-5 at the Burnt Barn Club "B".

Leaders Chepstow Rugby Club kept up the fight for the title as they won 10-5 away to the Carpenters Arms in Shirenewton, and Chepstow Athletic Club "B" were victorious 9-6 away to Thornwell Football Club, with the Athletic Club's J. Holley taking out a 112 finish.
