A MAN from Chepstow ran the Cardiff Half Marathon last weekend (Sunday 2nd October) to raise money for the Orchard Trust charity. Joe Budd successfully raised £160 and completed the 13.1 mile course through the city of Cardiff in 1:35.
The Orchard Trust is based in the Forest of Dean, and provides services to develop the health and independence of people with learning disabilities. This includes physical therapy and development in a specialist ‘Swimgym’, respite care, education and training and a supported living service to give those with learning difficulties the opportunity to live independently.
