FLOOD warnings are in place this morning in Monmouthshire after Storm Imogen hit the county over the weekend.

The river level of the Wye at Monmouth was 4.5 metres and slowly rising this morning. As a result, the rowing club gates have been closed.

There is also a flood warning in place on the River Severn estuary in Chepstow today, with river levels downstream at Newport expected to reach over seven meters.
