The SARA lifeboat crew were called out following a report of a yacht drifting under the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge.

The coastguard asked them to investigate this report after SARA Lifeboat one had just been put away after training at Beachley, so it was quickly launched again around 8.45pm.

The crew made their way to the downstream end of the possible area and searched back up through the area on the Welsh side of the Estuary.

There was nothing to be seen and nothing on the radar, so the crew were stood down just after 9.30pm and returned back to Beachley.
