MONMOUTH business Hair by Jones has donated hundreds of pounds to St David’s Foundation Hospice Care after holding a charity event in November.

On Monday 21st December, Hair by Jones handed over £450, which was raised on 30th November when, for one afternoon, staff gave their time free of charge.

Denise Jones from Hair by Jones said: “We have done it for four or five years now. We did it after St David’s looked after my mum when she had terminal cancer.

“Clients came in and had a free makeover, haircut or chat about their hair and they just had to make a donation.”

The money raised will go towards helping St David’s Hospice Care continue to provide care throughout Monmouthshire.
