Cherry Trees care home welcomed the mayor of Caldicot, Councillor Alan Davies, as part of the natonal care home open day initiative. The day was designed to recognise those homes aiming to change perceptions of care by opening their doors and helping the public understand a bit more about how they operate. It was the first time Cllr Davies had visited the care home and he was impressed by the facility. He was welcomed by Gill Jones, manager of the care home, who was keen to showcase their approach to care. "We were pleased to be able to show the mayor how hard the staff work to provide an excellent service in care approach," she said.
