As a resident of Riverside Park I would like to thank Monmouthshire County Council, the Emergency services and others who responded so swiftly to the risk posed by the very high river Wye levels. I was impressed by the speed of the response once the decision was made early Monday morning. As it was the waters retreated before any serious damage was done.
