MADAM,

Nowzad, the Registered Charity founded by former Royal Marine and best-selling author Pen Farthing is lucky to have so many lovely supporters in Monmouthshire and who come along and enjoy a coffee and cake at our regular coffee mornings.

We will be holding our last coffee morning of the year on Saturday 29th October at The Priory Monmouth with all proceeds to Nowzad.

Not only have Nowzad re-united more than 800 animals with their befriended soldiers but do vital work at their clinic in Afghanistan.

Life for any street animal is bad, but in a war-ravaged country with harsh winters it is a daily fight for survival. Nowzad provides that help and education. More recently they have been helping the hard-working donkeys that provide a livelihood for many. Unfortunately when some are no longer able to carry the work load and collapse at the side of the road, Nowzad have been there and taken in that donkey.

There will be an array of  scrumptious cakes, beautiful hand crafted gifts and our legendary tombola, our usual warm welcome awaits both our regular and new supporters.
