Abergavenny Railway Station has been closed as emergency services deal with an incident near the station. Services are due to be delayed until at least 1.30am on Sunday.

Emergency services rushed to Abergavenny station shortly before 7.30pm and remain at the scene.

Services have been cancelled in both directions between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Newport (South Wales) (NWP) although some limited road transport is available at Abergavenny and Hereford to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost until the end of the day.
