A GIANT wooden guitar made by Devauden family Matt Trim and his children Floelyn aged 8, and Brereton 7, to publicise the forthcoming village festival on 18th and 19th May, has been stolen from Devauden Green overnight on 6th to 7th May.

The guitar, which was illuminated with fairy lights, has been a feature in the village for several years and is an eye-catching sight for people passing through.

There is a reward of free weekend festival tickets for any information leading to the return of the guitar.

Matt Trim said: "I’m absolutely astonished that anyone would want to steal a 10ft guitar made especially for Devauden festival. It is an iconic piece in our village since I built it with my children and has even travelled to Glastonbury with Rusty Shackle.

“We just hope it will be returned by the 18th & 19th May ready for the festival."
