HUNDREDS of visitors flocked to Monmouthshire over the weekend (2nd and 3rd June) for the county’s annual food festival in the heart of Caldicot Castle.
Crowds of visitors from the county and beyond enjoyed the sunshine to attend the event dedicated to food and drink, with sweet and savoury treats along with a range of locally produced ales and spirits to sample.
Pictured are Liam Whittle and Clive Williams, who demonstrated and invited the audience to learn and taste great cuisine.
Liam Whittle is a development chef with 17 years experience, having trained as a chef at the Celtic Manor Resort before working for three of Britain’s best chefs; Gordon Ramsay, Jason Atherton and Marcus Wareing in Michelin star restaurants. He was also a semi finalist on the BBC Master chef.
Clive Williams has been Head Chef at the Parkway Hotel and Spa, Cwmbran for six years.
Caldicot Castle provided a wonderful backdrop to the festival.
