The Diocese of Monmouth celebrated the ordination of five Deacons and six Priests last month, made up of nine women and two men.
Among those being ordained as priests this year were Pamela Love and Jane Avery, both of whom are entering the priesthood later in life.
Hilary Prest worked for 36 years in insurance broking and is being ordained as a Deacon. Hilary will be working in the Rectorial Benefice of Bassaleg, where she has been a Reader since 2005, and a Lay Eucharistic Minister since 2010.
Rt Revd Richard Pain, Bishop of Monmouth said: "I am delighted that we have a wide range of ordinands this year which reflects the diversity of the church.
