GWENT Police have received a  recent report that a buzzard has been found dead near the Whitemill waterworks, Shirenewton and that also that barn owl chicks have been found dead in a nest at Fitton church tower when the parent birds did not return to the nest.

This area is in close proximatey to a pheasant shoot.
