MONMOUTH Assembly Member Nick Ramsay was delighted to have been able to attend the Nepal Earthquake charity concert held at the Baptist chapel in Raglan over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Nick said: "This was a great evening at the Baptist chapel with the audience being treated to a range of hits by Geoff Downes of rock group Asia and local singer Angharad.

"The event raised in the region of a thousand pounds to aid disaster relief in Nepal.

"We're very lucky in Monmouthshire to have such great musical talent as we saw at the concert on Friday, and it's good that everyone is coming together to support people in need."
