UPDATE 27th July: The dog has now been found. According to police, the dog was found at the service station and picked up for safe keeping. The dog was fed and watered and returned to the owner fit and well.

A SHEEPDOG has been stolen from Raglan service station.

At 10.39pm on Sunday (24th July) from Raglan service station, a nine-year-old sheepdog named Jim was stolen. The vehicle was tracked to the Carmarthen area at 1.00am today (26th July).

The vehicle possibly stayed in Gwent overnight between Sunday and Monday.

The dog is a little overweight and black with a white ‘necklace’. He is very friendly, hence the reason he was caught, and is also microchipped.
