POLICE arrested two men after £5,000 was stolen from a Coral branch in Caldicot.

A Gwent Police spokesperson said: “At approximately 9.45am on Monday 17th April we received a report of a theft from a Coral store on Newport Road in Caldicot.?

“The offence occurred sometime between 6pm on Sunday 16th April and 3am on Monday 17th April, money is believed to have been taken.

“Two men from the Caldicot area were arrested on suspicion of theft and have been released under investigation while enquiries continue."
