GWENT Police is appealing for information after a large amount of jewellery was stolen from a house in Crick.
The burglary occurred sometime between 9.20am and 11.55am yesterday, (Thursday 17th August) as a house was broken into through force to rear patio doors in Crick, Caldicot.
An untidy search was made and a large quantity of ladies jewellery taken from within, including: One pair of tanzanite earrings, yellow gold, a small triangle shape with a blue stone; one pair of gold earrings with a green emerald stone; one pair of plain gold stud earrings; one pair of cameo earrings described as a terracotta base with slightly raised cream head and the matching cameo ring with gold band; one small box of assorted gold earrings which contained a pair of opal white studs, a yellow gold sapphire ring with platinum shoulders which the band had snapped on; one yellow gold ring which had a cluster of pearls; one silver necklace with a black pearl; and one silver necklace with a white pearl.
Unfortunately, no images are available of the stolen items.
