A MOTORCYCLIST who died near Raglan after a collision with a Range Rover has been named.

At around 7.30pm on Saturday 4th June, an incident was reported on Groesonen Road, Clytha. The collision, which took place between a blue Honda motorcycle and a Range Rover, occurred near the Clytha Arms Pub and Restaurant.

A 30-year-old man from the Bristol area, now named as John Grant, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 60 year old male from Monmouthshire was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He is currently on police bail until 26th September.
