POLICE are investigating possible human remains found in Chepstow.

Officers received a call at around 12.30pm last Wednesday (24th February) regarding the discovery at Beaufort Quarry in Chepstow.

An investigation has been launched and DNA results are expected to reveal more in the coming days.

It is thought locally that the remains were discovered during ongoing work at the former Mabey Bridge site.
