PLANS to build a 22,660 panel solar farm in Crick near Caerwent have been approved by Monmouthshire County Council (MCC).

The 5.67MW solar park will be built over five fields of agricultural land at Oak Grove Farm which is situated to the south-east of the village of Crick and 2.5km east of Caerwent.

The average net income of the site measures in at £60,000 and £177,000 per annum.
