Chepstow and District Darts League held two charity events on 11th December, the A League players competed at the Burnt Barn Club and the B League players competed at the Severn Bridge Social Club.

The tournaments consisted of a straight singles knockout, best of three legs of 501, with all money raised to be given to a good cause chosen by the two eventual winners.

The A League event was won by John Worsely, who plays for the Village Inn B, and the B League event was won by Marc Baynton from the Severn Bridge Social Club.

Both players asked for the 'Sedbury Circle', who raise money to help elderly people at Christmas, to be their chosen good cause.

A cheque for £200 was presented to the Sedbury Circle by Chris Smith from Chepstow and District Darts League.

Meanwhile, the Village Inn B continued their impressive form as they beat the Burnt Barn Club A side in a rearranged game on 18th December, with the Sedbury team's Pete Lee hitting a 180 in their 9-6 win.
