ON Wednesday 19th November, Monmouth Comprehensive's U13 girls were given the chance to represent the school at the Newport County  Football Tournament, with both teams doing really well.

The MCS 1st team went on to win the cup and will now represent Newport County in the Area Finals in Exeter, with the chance to play at Wembley next year.

They played seven and won seven without conceding a single goal.

Impressively Amber Dunstan Stamp and Hannah Jenkins topped the scoring with seven goals each and, with goalkeeper Cerys Hughes not conceding a single goal, they were able to bring back the

trophy.
