SUDBROOK CC Thirds took on Undy and Magor CC in the final friendly before the league season begins on Saturday.

Some fine bowling restricted Sudbrook to 146 all out and Undy and Magor passed the target with seven wickets and 10 overs to spare with Harry James (50 retired), Richard Hudson (25) and Ryan Hudson (18 not out) doing the damage.

Undy and Magor are away to Cefn Fforest and Maesycwmmer on Saturday in their first match in Division Five.

Elsewhere, in the First Division Sudbrook CC Firsts are away to Blackwood while their Seconds entertain Lisvane at Mill Lane, Caldicot.

Chepstow CC Firsts visit Croesyceiliog and their Seconds are home to Abergavenny Seconds.
