THIS was another close week in the ’A’ league with all the games finishing 5-4.

The Huntsman Hotel beat the Burnt Barn Club ’A’, the Five All’s beat Chepstow Football Club, and Chepstow Athletic Club ’A’ beat the Burnt Barn Club ’C’. 180’s were hit this week by Mostyn Morgan (Chepstow Athletic Club ’A’), and Joe Orme (Five All’s), and the highest checkout of the season so far was hit by Rob Jones of Chepstow Athletic Club ’A’ with a 147 finish. Chepstow Athletic Club ’A’ sit at the top of the ’A’ league with maximum points.

In the ’B’ league Chepstow Rugby Club were victors over Thornwell Football Club, 8-7, the Burnt Barn Club ’B’ were comfortable winners 11-4 over the Village Inn, with the Burnt Barns Dave Watts hitting a 180. Chris Bushell of Chepstow Athletic Club ’B’ also hit a 180 but this didn’t help his team as they lost 9-6 to the Carpenters Arms.

The top spot in the ’B’ league is currently shared by the Carpenters Arms and Chepstow Rugby Club, both with two wins out of two.
