The former boss of a recycling site near Chepstow could be facing jail.
Jacqueline Powell was the managing director of Wormtech Ltd when it committed several breaches of its environmental permit.
The 58-year-old denied charges of consenting to or conniving as a director of a company of treating, keeping or disposing of controlled waste on land in a manner likely to cause pollution to the environment or harm to human health, and consenting to or conniving as a director of a company of failing to comply with a condition of an environmental permit.
Following a three-week trial at Cardiff Crown Court, a jury of nine men and three women took around four hours to reach guilty verdicts on the counts.
Judge Neil Bidder QC applied for a confiscation order under the Proceeds of Crime Act to try to pay for clearing costs.
Powell was granted bail and will reappear for sentencing on 13th
February.
