MADAM,

I have been following the developments around the proposed relocation of the play area on Chippenham mead with interest for some time now. It has warmed my heart to see local people who care enough to devote their time and energy to research, consult and negotiate on this matter, and to see local officials who are taking the health and wellbeing of future generations so seriously in light of ever increasing evidence of the long term harm that traffic pollution does.

The children are the future, and the new location of the play area shows how much local people value that future.

Well done Friends of Chippenham Mead and Monmouth Town Council. Your children, their children, and their children’s children will thank you.
