Volunteers have been busy at St Peter’s Church after they rallied round to join forces in a massive clean up operation.
The much loved building was badly flooded and left filthy and damaged.
Cleaning and repair work to the interior must be completed before it can be opened again, so a multi-faith team got down to it one weekend.
“Knowing where to stop is the hard part,” said Mike Geddes.
If anyone wants to join these friends of Dixton Church please do so.
Numbers are limited due to the distancing requirements, however there is a lot to do and pew polishing can be conducted outside when necessary.
