TIMOTHY Jackson, of Market Street, Sheffield, has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Usk woman Anne Jackson last November.

The 78-year-old poet's stepson appeared via video link from HMP Cardiff to the city's crown court on Monday (19th January).

Jackson denied the charge and has been remanded in custody. A trial is due to begin on Tuesday 24th February.
