Phil Bell, executive director at Chepstow Racecourse, said: "We are delighted that we have secured UB40 and Madness to play at the racecourse this summer.
"They are both national treasures, with songs that span multiple decades, and they will both attract a huge audience."

Phil Bell said: "Chepstow Racecourse has played host to some fantastic acts in the past few years, including Jools Holland, and Sir Tom Jones in 2014.
"Both UB40 and Madness always put on an incredible show, with hits that appeal to music fans of all ages. The combination of a day at the races, followed immediately by a concert has proven to be a real hit, and we are looking forward to two fantastic evenings of entertainment."
