TWO separate collisions near the Severn Bridge have caused traffic delays.

Police are currently dealing with two separate road traffic collisions near the Severn Bridge westbound, the first involving a van and a car and the second involving three vehicles.

The first involves a van and a car and an ambulance is on its way to the scene. Two lanes are currently blocked.

The second (closer to the tolls) involves three vehicles, with no injuries caused. One lane is currently blocked.

Gwent Police have warned motorists to expect traffic delays.
